Worship
For Lutherans, worship stands at the center of our life of faith. Through God’s word, water, bread and prayer we are nurtured in faith and sent out into the world. We worship each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. followed by coffee & community (fellowship) immediately after completion of the service along with Sunday School and Confirmation during the school year.
Worship at Zion follows the historic liturgy of the Church, the shared pattern of gathering, Scripture, and song that Christians have used for centuries. You will hear rich songs alongside the organ, and each Sunday finds its center in Holy Communion, which we celebrate weekly as the heart of our worship. All who believe in the true presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine are welcome to receive Communion with us, no matter where you've traveled from or how long it has been. Whether this is your first time in a Lutheran pew or you have worshiped this way your whole life, you are welcome to simply come, listen, and see what unfolds.

Throughout the church year, Zion loves to explore how worship can look and feel different across the seasons — incorporating liturgical art, seasonal altar settings, and other creative touches that draw us deeper into the rhythms of Advent, Lent, Easter, and beyond. We are always trying something new, whether that is a different style of service, a special evening gathering, or a fresh way of engaging the senses in worship.
